Mike Neuenschwander

Mike is a veteran of the enterprise identity and access management (IAM) market and helped create some of its first technologies. He has 30 years of experience in IAM as a product manager, consultant, and industry analyst. Recently, Mike has worked to make AI technologies useful and safe for enterprise organizations and started consumer projects using AI agents.

Natalie White

Natalie White is a New York City based artist whose work–featured in more than 20 solo exhibitions and collected by several museums–spans such varied modes of expression as self-portraiture, sculpture, embroidery, abstract paintings, works on paper and performance. Natalie is best known for her work on the Giant Polaroid Camera and her work as a muse to many of the world’s most famous artists

Spencer Koehler

Spence is an accomplished data scientist, researcher, instructor, and practitioner who has contributed to several patents throughout his career. Spence has developed full spectrum natural language processing (NLP) solutions and conversational AI. He has also made significant contributions through ML and AI technologies to the healthcare and cybersecurity industries.

At AI for Society, Spence is building technological innovations that enrich the lives and capabilities of individuals and society, while guarding against detrimental pitfalls AI can bring.

Barbara Starr

Barbara went from pursuing a PhD in AI in South Africa to building intelligent trading systems on Wall Street. At SAIC, she led DARPA projects like HPKB and ARDA AQUAINT. She then moved to e-commerce, working for Overstock.com to develop semantic search engines and optimize product data. Continuing in the field, she consulted for companies like GS1, leveraging her expertise in AI, Semantic Web, Semantic Search, and SEO to provide innovative solutions.

Lisa Thurman

Lisa brings a mix of business and artistic experience with roles ranging from HR and search engine optimization (SEO) to theater and orchestra. An accomplished violinist, Lisa also plays major parts in musicals, plays, and festivals. At AI for Society, Lisa provides expertise on AI projects involving culture and arts.

Jacoba Sieders

Jacoba has a wide range of experience, culminating in her role as executive at both ABN Amro and ING Bank. Her real interest, though, is in social concerns and now spends her time as a consultant to many European governments and businesses. A cellist, a linguist, and humanist; Jacoba brings a wealth of talent to our team!
