ZodAIc ("the app") is developed by AI for Society. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

- Account information: your email address, used to create and secure your account.

- Profile information you provide: username, display name, and your chosen ZodAIc sign.

- Activity and social data: who you follow, what you've shared within the app, and your interactions with content.

- Content you submit: URLs or articles you classify through the app.

 

How We Use Information

- To provide the app's core features: your personalized feed, sign compatibility readings, and social features like following and sharing.

- To generate content: URLs and article text you submit, and the resulting classifications, are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce classifications and persona-voiced content ("Hot Takes," lens readings). Anthropic processes this data to generate responses but does not use it to identify you personally.

- To operate and maintain the app's backend, provided by Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage).

 

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following service providers to operate ZodAIc:

- Supabase — backend database and authentication

- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI-generated content and classification

 

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

 

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above, to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us.

 

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account). Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your profile, follows, and shared posts — this cannot be undone.

 

Children's Privacy

ZodAIc is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

 

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

 

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
